A look back at Loft Access: July
Posted on 21st July 2017 at 14:30
The past quarter has been a busy time for The Loft Access Company. From settling into our new office earlier in the year, to deepening our understanding of the ladder manufacturing process from our suppliers, we've had a lot going on! Here are just a couple of the team's top successes from the year.
Office Move
As the team grew (doubling the number of employees in less than 18 months) we rapidly outgrew our Windsor-based office. As luck would have it, a much more spacious suite came available within the same building that we were able to move into immediately.
We are now over the High Street, and able watch the Changing of the Guard every morning!
Fundraising gala announced
We were absolutely thrilled to be able to support local charity, the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service, at our 2017 fundraising gala. To be held at the Oakley Court Hotel in Windsor later in the year, this will be an evening of elegant dining and brilliant entertainment. There is a very limited number of tickets still available, more information is available here.
Supplier visits
Having strong relationships with our suppliers is so important to us, and being able to visit so many them in the recent years has been fantastic. For the newer members of the team, the hands-on training was a great opportunity. Warwick, Loft Access' Operations Manager says "Knowing how each unit is manufactured has massively developed my understanding of why the ladder works so well as a commercial product".
Check out this post for a more detailed account of the visit to our loft ladder supplier.

Stylish Staircases
A partner company of Loft Access, the brand spanking new Stylish Staircases website launched earlier this month. We've been working incredibly hard on this project for the last year, so were thrilled to kick off this new venture!
Stylish Staircases specialises in offering bespoke domestic and commercial staircase solutions, offering an enormous range of colours, configurations and styles. Each staircase is provided as an easy-to-assemble kit, which can be installed within one day with only the basic home tools.
Custom designed with the avid DIY'ers in mind, there are a number of different staircases available, including spiral, winder and exterior – all of which you can model to suit your home exactly.

Investors In People acknowledgement
Following a rigorous assessment and in-depth report, The Loft Access Company were delighted to formally receive an Accreditation for the Investors In People Standard.
Established in 1991, the Standard is a recognition of leading workplace trends and helps organisations to improve business performance through the cooperation of their staff. The Standard's framework focuses on nine key indicators including organisational value, recognising performance and continuous improvement.
Huge congratu-well done to the whole team!
